Interviewing Baeli: A Character in My Latest WIP

Hi peeps! Today, I’ve brought a super good friend of mine that happens to be Wren’s friend as well. I thought it would be a blast to interview her so you guys can get to know her better!

Let’s jump in! But wait! Don’t forget that the Back to School contest is due tomorrow! Click HERE for more information if you are interested in entering. FYI, this is a very lowkey contest!

Before I bring in this special person, I think she deserves a proper introduction, don’t you think? This friend of mine, Baeli, is one of the most thoughtful people I’ve met. She’s ONE of the main characters in my WIP but not THE main character. (That job is left to Wren.)

Ladies and gentlemen, here’s Baeli!

(Baeli’s answers will be italicized and mine will be bold.)

Hi Baeli! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to join me on the blog!

You bet! I didn’t have anything else to do and besides, I thought it would be super cool to meet your blogging friends.

Well, they are some of the best people in the world! Now, let’s get started with the first question: What is your full name?

Baeli. That’s my full name. I do have a last name but I try to forget it. It’s not a last name I’m proud of having.

Yeah, I can agree with you on that one. Do you have any siblings?

Nope. I’m an only child.

That sucks.

I know.

How old are you?

18.

Where do you live now, and with whom?

Well, as of recently, I moved into a top secret hideout. I’ve sworn to keep secrecy so I can’t tell you anymore information.

“Don’t worry about it. I can see where you are coming from. You’ve hated my kind all your life and now that I’m here, you’ve been forced to trust me and let me reside here.”

-Baeli

Aww, really? Dang it, I wanted some new secrets to keep. Okay, now we are going to jump out of the basic questions and jump into some more random ones. On what occasions do you lie?

I don’t really like to lie. I prefer not to lie. BUT, I will lie to keep my loved ones safe.

Perfect answer. Are you right or left handed?

Left.

Ooh! Are you optimistic or pessimistic?

Optimistic. Why not always try to find the good in something?

Wow. I really need to take some life lessons from you. What is your favorite color?

White. It represents purity and innocence. And I always try to be innocent and not get into trouble.

Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?

I prefer to have a plan. Especially where I live and what I do, you need to have a plan.

Does that mean you are a spy?

Umm, not exactly a spy but I go on secret missions.

“Leave the guns. I won’t help your wounded bird if you bring the guns in.”

-Baeli

Secret missions?

If I told you, they wouldn’t be so secret.

*Huffs* fine. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?

Introverted. Well, extroverted to some people.

Okay now, we are going deep. How would you describe your childhood?

Nothing magical. Just a child and two parents trying to survive. And then about halfway through my childhood, it was just one person trying to survive. Don’t ask where the other two people went.

What is your greatest regret?

Not saving someone’s life.

What is your greatest fear? Which other person knows about this fear of yours?

I have several fears but I’m not going to list my greatest one. But, I do have a fear of needles. And Wren definitely knows about this one. *cough*

“Would you hold my hand? I know that sounds really weird to ask but I need something to squeeze. Otherwise, I’m going to end up punching someone.”

-Baeli

What do you want most in life?

For everyone to be happy. That’s my goal. And I’m still working on it.

What a beautiful goal! Are you a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty kind of person?

Half full.

And that will wrap it up! Thanks so much for joining me!

No problem! I enjoyed it!

That’s all for today! Thank you so much for tapping into this post and I hope you enjoyed it!

  3. OH MY WORD, BAELI IS SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! I LOOOVE those graphics for her and man, she just seems like a SUPER sweet gal to know!!! I especially love her approach on life and how she’s so optimistic and stuff! Oh, AND THOSE QUOTES. Girl, you are an AMAZING writer!!!! (My favorite quote was by far the one where Baeli said she might end up punching someone. XD That legit made me laugh out loud!) 😉 Seriously though, I am SO HOOKED on this story! Are you planning on publishing it? (‘Cause this lil’ ole gal might not be able to handle it if she isn’t able read this story at all…) XP
For the questions, character interviews are THE BEST!!! I LOVE getting to know characters better through those! Hmmm…I would say I’m pretty optimistic and I definitely *try* to look at the glass-half-full most of the time, buuut, I can be a Johnny Rain Cloud many times too… 😉 XD
