100,000 Words in 92 Days // Getting Started

Today’s officially day one of the 100,000 Words in 92 Days challenge! If you’re seeing this challenge for the first time, click this magical bolded thing here to visit the first post in this series!

Starting September 1st, I’m going to try and write 100,000 words before the end of the year, skipping November for NaNoWriMo.

That’s writing 100,000 words in 92 days.

1,087 words a day.

For this new series, I’m going to publish one post each week with updates about my progress, an introduction to my characters and the world, and other special goodies such as playlists and graphics. Check back in a week for the first post!

The best part is YOU can join in too! You don’t have to do the exact project I’m doing. You could write less or even give yourself a challenge to just write every day for 92 days. You could make a goal to write 50,000 words in 92 days and spend the first few weeks plotting. Maybe you’ll edit your novel and rewrite it in 92 days. Or since this is super late notice, maybe you will join in halfway through. Whatever you do, it would be a blast if you joined in on this new series!

100,000 Words in 92 Days // My Next Big Project

Holy cow! It’s been forever since I’ve popped on here. I know I say this every time but this time I’m staying for good. After taking a big break, I finally have enough structure in my life to bring blogging back in!

I decided about 4 days ago that I was going to take on a huge project. For nearly a year or so, I’ve been working on a novel, and the progress hasn’t been going well. I have a very complex outline, and I’ve written about 25,000 words but haven’t done anything else with it.

Until now.

I’ve talked about this novel on my blog before or at least you’ve met one of the characters. Does anyone remember Wren? XD That crazy guy. Yep, that’s the novel that I’m working on.
