Dahlia ponders Rae’s advice about greed. “And…perhaps I can also buy a little something for the next beggar to come by and have.”

“Oh, wow, really? Thanks!” Keonna said brightly. “I’m going to go buy some weapons with my freed-up money!”
Keonna hesitated for a second and gave Dahlia a quick hug before going to the blacksmith’s.

Dahlia shrugs. “You’d probably do the same for one of us. Besides, I don’t need weapons,” Dahlia smirks, pulling droplets of water from the humidity.

Diana smiled. “Aww, you guys are so sweet. Your kindness towards one another just made my day! Today I’m selling apples, strawberries, bananas, apricots, huckleberries, cherries, and vegetables if you want some of those. My exotic fruits that just came in are bayberries, seaberries, and tropicalberries. I only have the exotic fruits in stock for a couple months a year.”

“Nice! Do you have any sort of bundle deal? If not, I’d love some sea berries and apples for Keonna for sure. And some vegetables for the beggar.” Dahlia sweetly explained.

“Of course! I have a bundle deal going on right now where you get a bag as big as your hand with all the new exotic berries for 6 tolkens. This bag should last you up to three meals. The apples right now are 2 tolkens each and a bag full of vegetables is 5 tolkens.”

“Alrighty. I’ll take a bag of berries, two apples, and a bag of vegetables for the beggars. That should be about 13 tolkens, but would you be willing to go down to 10?”

“Of course, honey! For your kindness.” Diana handed Dahlia the bag of exotic berries and two apples. “I’ll just keep the vegetables here until the next beggar comes around?”

“Well, I don’t know much. I do know that legend has it there’s a monster roaming the caves, ready to confront anyone who goes in there. If you don’t do what he asks, he kills you. That’s what I’ve heard, but it could be all lies. Rumors are hard to decode here. You might want to find a good bounty hunter who knows all about rumors.”

Ilana strolled over to the fruits stall, her eyes trailing over the delectable-looking fruit. “Good day, miss.” Ilana gave a slight nod of her head. “How much would a bundle of tropicalberries cost?” Her mouth was already watering at the thought of tasting the fruit. “Also, I’ll pay a tolken for any information you might have regarding the Crystal Caves.”

I don’t know that much about the Crystal Caves. I do know that legend has it there’s a monster roaming the caves, ready to confront anyone who goes in there. If you don’t do what he asks, he kills you. I’m pretty sure he asks you to solve a riddle before you can reach the gem, but I may have just heard rumors. Anyway, that’s all I know!”

“Hi there! We do have a bundle deal going on with all the exotic berries for 6 tolkens. Or I can get you a bigger bag of regular fruit such as huckleberries, bananas, apples, and apricots. This bigger bag will cost you 10 tolkens and should last you about 5-6 days.”
