Starting September 1st, I’m going to try and write 100,000 words before the end of the year, skipping November for NaNoWriMo.
That’s writing 100,000 words in 92 days.
1,087 words a day.
For this new series, I’m going to publish one post each week with updates about my progress, an introduction to my characters and the world, and other special goodies such as playlists and graphics. Check back in a week for the first post!
The best part is YOU can join in too! You don’t have to do the exact project I’m doing. You could write less or even give yourself a challenge to just write every day for 92 days. You could make a goal to write 50,000 words in 92 days and spend the first few weeks plotting. Maybe you’ll edit your novel and rewrite it in 92 days. Or since this is super late notice, maybe you will join in halfway through. Whatever you do, it would be a blast if you joined in on this new series!

Holy cow! It’s been forever since I’ve popped on here. I know I say this every time but this time I’m staying for good. After taking a big break, I finally have enough structure in my life to bring blogging back in!
I decided about 4 days ago that I was going to take on a huge project. For nearly a year or so, I’ve been working on a novel, and the progress hasn’t been going well. I have a very complex outline, and I’ve written about 25,000 words but haven’t done anything else with it.
Until now.

I’m super excited to be back with another post, especially with a writing-themed post because these are my favorite posts to write! Plus, I can’t resist the opportunity to talk about my WIPs. XD. In this post, you will get more information about my 2021 NaNo project. I’ve been working on it lately and I’m hoping to finish soon! (Though, who knows how close soon will be…) That’s why I’ve decided to talk about how to get pumped up about your story and in the writing mood because I’ve been insanely excited about this WIP of mine.
I’ve been gone for so long some of you might’ve thought I found Narnia and disappeared for good. Sadly, I did not find Narnia. I’m still looking though!
I am pleased to announce that today, January 3rd is my BLOGIVERSARY! I never imagined this day would come. A year ago, I started this blog. A month before that, I had no idea that the blogosphere even existed. But somehow, I stumbled upon this amazing community and it has since changed my life. I always look forward to writing posts and talking with all of you. And I still think it’s really cool when someone asks me what’s something unique I do, I can tell them I run a blog.
