“I’ll take one of each of all the potions, too. I’ll pay 5 tokens per item, as well.” Keonna was desperate to get her hands on a potion of harming, especially.
He rubbed his hands, anxiously. “Well, that’s the thing. You can buy as many potions as you want, but you will be cursed as soon as you use them. Only a potion healer can use them. So if you are going to buy them for a potion healer then….”
(Of course! Sorry that’s my fault, I got my accounts mixed again XD)
The Potions Master eyes lit up. “Thank you, hon. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a pretty girl like you dance. My daughter passed away a few years ago and that was her favorite thing to do. Here,” The Potions Master held out Keonna’s purchases. “I’ll give you it for 25.”
“Hi! Each potion is 5 tolkens but the instant sleep one is 7. Also, if you aren’t a potions healer, when you use the potions you will be cursed.” The Potions Master smiled softly.
“Well, a potions healer is a born role, just like a Mage and Guardian. So yes, it is a genetic thing but I’m sure there is sorts of witchcraft out there that can make you immune to the curse so you can become a potions master too. But the witchcraft comes with a cost, I’m sure.”
“I see… interesting… and yes, witchcraft always comes with a cost… but if we are not a Potions master, does buying potions curse us? Or only if we use them ourselves?”
Cassie nodded a friendly smile in the Potion Masters direction before leaving with her two potions, potions she couldn’t use, but she hoped at least they would find a Potions Master sometime, and they might be useful to have.

The Potions Master coughed. “Have you heard of the curse?”

“Nope. I need my potions, and quick. But I’ll pay an extra 3 if you give me that information…” Keonna hinted.

“Hmm, well I am, cause there’s no way I could. I’ve got no powers.” Keonna lied. “So how much?”

The Potions Healer took a step back, surprised. “Really? That will be about 300 tolkens. Each potion is 5 tolkens, but the instant sleep is 7.”

“No, no.” Keonna grained a little. Another mixup?! “Just one of each, sir. Sorry for the confusion.”

The Potions Master laughed. “Don’t worry, you are all good. One of each? Okay then, that will be 32 tolkens.”

“What about 30?” Keonna tried. She could bargain, after all.

“30?” The Potions Master smiled and stroked his beard. “I’ll do 30 if you dance for me.”

“Uh, deal!” Keonna grinned.
She did a jig that her dad taught her and laughed all the while.

Keonna laughed again, but stopped when she heard the story. “That’s too bad, sir. And thanks!” She grabbed the supplied and waved as she walked away.

“Well then, may I buy one healing potion and one invisibility potion?” Cassie asked, pretty sure that would cost a total of ten tolkens.
