Truth or Dare

Hellooooooooo fans! How has your week been? Good? Bad? Horrible? Stressful? Okay? I hope it has been TERRIFIC!

I am back, finally, with the Truth or Dare post. (Which I know was LONG overdue) I’d like to thank all of you for giving me dares! Idk, I guess I could say I was feeling a little risky and decided to have you guys give me dares. ๐Ÿ™‚

‘Cause I mean we all need to take risks in life, right? #lifetipswithalexa XD

Anyway, I know y’all are cringing in your seats right now because you just want to get to the truth or dare part. Don’t tell me no because I do know that you are, lol. Hehe. But I’ll guess I’ll get on with the post. So, without further ado, here is what y’all have been waiting for.

My first dare was suggested by Miriam! She told me to do 10 pushups. And guess what? I did! Hurrah! Aren’t y’all proud of me? Here’s the exact routine I did it in:

2 pushups

(Had to change spots because I was slipping with my socks on the floor)

3 more pushups

(Has to scold sister for laughing at me)

5 pushups to end it!

My second dare was suggested by Maggie! She told me to write a post about my top three favorite book characters of all time. Won’t that be a fun post to tap into? The post is now on my blogging schedule so I should be able to get around to it soon!

Mahitha also dared me to write a post about something embarrassing that happened in my life. *Sighs* Oh no. That post is also now on the schedule, so stay tuned for that!

Next, Trixie dared me to make a shirt that said “Empaths give me all the feels.” If you are a KOTLC fan, y’all know what I’m talking ’bout! And bonus: I even wore it to school last Friday!

Akriti dared me to eat ice cream with mayo. *Shudders* Here, you know what? I just decided I will tell you what happened in story form:

Alexa pulled open the freezer, searching for the ice cream and finally found it on the top shelf. She grabbed the mayo out of the fridge and set them side by side for a picture for her bloggers which of whom she loved so dearly that she was doing this for them. (XD)

Alexa placed a scoop full of ice cream and a spoon full of mayo into a small glass bowl. She mixed the two together and took a bite, immediately gagging. Making weird whale noises, she jokingly offered the ice cream to her brother but he refused saying he heard her gagging. She was able to eat about half of it before wanting to vomit and had to pass on the rest of it. After eating it, she realized the ice cream had a lot of mayo and she should have toned the mayo down a bit, but oh well.

Even though I didn’t eat all of it, I hope that still counts! Thanks Akriti for this dare! XD

The last dare I got was from Issabelle! She told me to draw a book character or one of my own characters so here’s my drawing!

Everyone, meet one my characters in my book, Liberty. This book is definitely one of my side stories, (I don’t work on it very much) but I thought it was one of my better drawings, so I decided to put this drawing up. ‘Cause the other one I tried drawing, didn’t turn out very well…(If you are wondering, I didn’t draw the body outline. I drew everything inside it. For example, I drew the fur outline. )

Thank you to all who gave me dares! It was so much fun and so much risky, but it was all worth it! I have one thing to tell you before I leave for today:

If you noticed, the post description paragraph and the text color on the right side of my blog page is gray, and not white. I don’t know how that happened, I just came back here to check up on things and saw that. I’ve already tried resetting the blog text color, but it still hasn’t worked. If anyone know how to solve this problem, your advice will be greatly appreciated!

Tell me in the comments below:

  1. Have you ever played truth or dare? If so, what was your favorite dare that you have ever done?
  2. What is one piece of writing advice you would like everyone to know for their stories?
  3. Do you like Valentines Day? Why or why not? Do you have any special things you do or any special stories? Any special things to do someone?

Thanks for tapping in for today’s post! Have a magnificent day!

Peace out!

  1. Congrats on 10 push-ups!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐ŸŽ‰Push-ups are not easy, so Iโ€™m proud of you!
    1. Yep, Iโ€™ve played truth or dare! My favorite dare was when someone dared me to jump into a creek with all my clothes on.๐Ÿ˜‚
    2. The more unique and creative, the better!
    3. Iโ€™m not a huge Valentineโ€™s Day person… but I usually make brownies in a heart shaped pan. I donโ€™t have any traditions or anything.๐Ÿ™ƒ

  2. As soon as I saw my email of your post, I just COULD NOT wait to read it!!! The ice cream and mayo dare made me laugh SO hard!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Okay, now to answer your questions~

    1. I’ve played truth or dare man times but I haven’t picked dare many times, so I don’t really have a favorite one. Hehe
    2. Well, if you get Writer’s Block, all you gotta do is stop thinking about writing. All you gotta do is think about something else (anything) and you’ll get ideas without even knowing it!!
    3. Well, Valentine’s Day is okay. I don’t like it, or not like it (I’m not sure if that even makes sense…) I don’t really do anything for Valentine’s Day, so no. I guess I just don’t have the Valentine’s Day spirit! (If that’s a thing!)

    • Aww, thanks! Yeah looking back at the ice cream and mayo, it was pretty funny. But maybe not in the moment…..XD
*Laughs* Yeah sometimes the truths seem more appealing than the dares, lol.
Ooh! I like that advice! To step away. I always struggle with writer’s block, so that will help me!
You totally make sense and I agree with you! It is kinda hard to describe Valentine’s day.

I have played truth or dare, and once I had to go up to people and bock like a chicken! Hmm writing tips.. I think everybody should know that you should definitely plan you plot out ahead of time, but leave some room for that โ€œ THATS A GREAT IDEA!โ€ Moment when your just sitting down and writing. Or maybe thatโ€™s just me, idk! I donโ€™t do a lot for Valentineโ€™s Day, but last year I had the flu so this year will hopefully be better!!

    1. Yes, I have played truth or dare like one other time but that was back in the sixth grade and I don’t remember it. All I remembered was that I had only chosen truth every time. XD

    2. That first drafts are hard. First drafts are messy. First drafts are not supposed to sound perfect. KEEP ON WRITING YOUR FIRST DRAFT BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU’LL GET BETTER AS A WRITER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    3. I LOVE Valentine’s day!!!!!! Yes, I have one very good memory. I remember years ago when I was really young that my dad had fixed breakfast for me and my sisters on Valentine’s Day. It’s a really good memory ’cause he doesn’t normally cook but had gone out of his way for us. ๐Ÿ™‚
This post was AWESOME!!!!!!! Can’t wait for the next one!
